M (mint) Sealed, since it is sealed the record is presumed mint. Sold AS IS -- sight unseen since sealed. NM (near mint) Opened, the album shows nearly no signs of being played . Jacket Cover: NM - The cover may have minor wear, but no bends, or creases or writing on it. VG++ or /EX (excellent) There are a few light marks but the album has been well preserved. Jacket Cover: VG++ or EX (excellent) The cover has a little bit more wear than NM. VG+ The record may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches. Jacket Cover: VG+ covers have minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom or top. A VG+ cover may have some defacing, for example a name written on it. Very Good (VG) VG records have more obvious imperfections than a VG+ record. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches that are deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Jacket Cover: VG covers will show evident signs of being handled. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside. More creases visible and seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides. Someone might have written on it or there may be a price tag or other labeling on it. Fair The record has significant ring wear, heavy writing, or other obvious damage such as major scratches.
