1960s VTG Draped Chiffon & Satin Layered Dress M 36 Bust Pale Yellow Prom Party

Description: This 1960s pale butter yellow colored dress features multiple layers. Delicate Chiffon drapes over the satin body with a built in tulle crinoline on the inside. A Talon brand zipper is located in the middle of the back for closure with two snaps that hold the satin bow detail in place. Overall condition is excellent. There is one hole in the chiffon on the front which is it’s biggest flaw , but is often disguised within the folds of the draping. Dress has the odd small spot / stains on the backside that are all approximately 7ish inches up from the hem. With one being approximately 12” up from the hem. Hole and stains/ spots shown in pictures. The dress form used for photographs has measurements of 34” Bust , 24” waist , 35” hips and is a Size 6 for reference. No sizing tags present but should fit a modern medium. There is a fair amount of room within the bust while on the form. A 36” Bust , 24 ” waist would best fit this dress. Hips are free. You could have the dress taken in to alter measurements if needed. Dress measurements are - 42” overall length. 15” in length from shoulder to waist. 27.5” from waist to lower hem. Shoulder to shoulder 16.5”. 36” Bust. 24” waist. Hip size is free. See pictures for condition and measurements. Please be aware all vintage clothes will have some wear, minor blemishes.
