Description: Presented here is a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses from the early 1960's. This stunning pair of sunglasses is in excellent condition, especially given their age. The glasses are engraved on the interior with 'Wayfarer' and 'B&L Rayban USA.' The Wayfarer sunglasses are some of the most famous eyeglasses in history. The arms of the glasses are held in with a 7 pronged hinge. The earlier model of the Wayfarer leaned forward heavily. (Please see photos for details of the frames.) The more early models had more angling on the arms of the eyeglass frames. This pair of sunglasses is an iconic piece of fashion history. The glasses measure 5.5 inches across the front of the glasses. From the front of the glasses to the back measures 6 inches. The top of the lenses in the front to the bottom measure 1.8 inches. There is a faint BL stamp on one of the lens. Also, they have been well loved, so there is some wear. See pics 14-18.
