Description: A fair copy of this novel; hinges cracked and some looseness to the binding although it's all holding together. One section has stains at the tops of the pages--stain is visible on exterior of book on outside page edges (something leaked in at one time). Name crossed out in ink on both inside covers with a 1948 date also in ink. Covers and spine have some soiling and show wear. Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
