Description: This is a lovely uncirculated 1943 steel American cent from the San Francisco Mint. The numerals 4 and 3 and the Mintmark S have all been struck with plugged dies. There is a strike through on the reverse of the coin probably through a metal flake that has fallen off. The base of the 2nd letter T in the word STATES can be seen punched through the obstruction.
