Description: This is a 1901 hardcover revised, illustrated edition of Booker T. Washington’s autobiography, The Story of My Life and Work. (This 1901 edition is a very early edition of this autobiography, originally released the year before, in 1900.) The book contains numerous photographs and illustrations. The book is in very good condition but for some shelfwear and edgewear, bumping and wear to the spine ends and corner tips, light soiling to the boards and spine, faint lightening and slightest cocking to the spine, a prior owner’s name and address written on the front free endpaper, and very faint and even toning to the pages, and a tiny tear to the rear pastedown endpaper. The pages are clean except for some very occasional small and light spots of soiling; the book has no writing other than, as noted, the name and address on the front free endpaper. The book has no dust jacket, as issued (that is, it appears to have been issued without one). This collectible book is not ex-library. It will be shipped bubble wrapped in a box.
