1/16 (120mm) Resin WWII German Panzer Tank Commander OOP Verlinden #966 MISB

Description: I need to clear some space on my shelves, so I have to part with some of my collection. Verlinden essentially created the market for resin figures, dioramas, detail upgrades and unique subjects in the 80s and 90s. François Verlinden guided the company and set the standard for those that followed. Sadly, they disappeared in 2016 but there is still lots of inventory out there if you know where to look. In this listing, you have found a dismounted German Panzer Commander taking a break with a bottled beverage. The officer is on an oval base with small arms, a jerry can and the remnants of a wall surrounding him. The large scale (1/16, a.k.a. 120mm) makes super detailing him possible. This set is obviously Out Of Production and very hard-to-find on eBay but as a Top Rated Plus US Seller, I have it in stock and can reliably ship this product very quickly. I won’t do a big write up on this, but here is what I have found online about this particular set: Scalemates.com has a listing that confirms this is a new tooling from 1994 and shows the official box art of the assembled and expertly painted scene. They also have links to other figures, but nothing precisely related to this set. This set is in a nicely decorated camo box about 5.5” x 5” x 2”. As you can see from the pictures, the box is in great shape and is still sealed with the original shrink wrap, so I consider it factory sealed and absolutely gift-ready. This item contains several highly detailed resin parts to create your own WWII German Tank Commander in a dismounted scene on a small base. It requires cement and paint to complete as shown.
